Jacobs Engineering SA (JESA) est la joint venture entre l’Office chérifien des phosphates (OCP) premier exportateur de phosphates et dérivés dans le monde et le Groupe américain Jacobs Engineering, l’un des plus grands prestataires des services techniques, professionnels et de construction pour l’ensemble des secteurs industriels et tertiaires.

Cette joint-venture contribuera notamment à l’accompagnement de l’OCP dans la réalisation des infrastructures nécessaires au développement de la plate-forme chimique de Jorf Lasfar et au développement des activités de l’industrie du phosphate en général.

Aujourd’hui, JESA emploie plus de 250 personnes dont un tiers est composé de différentes nationalités. Notre objectif en termes de recrutement est de 150 personnes d’ici la fin de l’année.

> Warehouser – Shift


  • Abide by the approved warehouse procedures and practices as directed and outlined in related departmental procedures.
  • Receive, verify, locate and record all material designated for immediate use or warehouse storage.
  • Coordinate the receiving of technical material with the planners and MRO Technicians
  • Store and locate all material and supplies in an orderly and controlled manner.
  • Arrange for the control and distribution of material and supplies, using withdrawal slips in accordance with work order requirements


  • Degree in engineering or equivalent
  • More than 5 years’ experience in a similar position
  • Must be familiar with the construction and material specifications.
  • General Knowledge of Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance
  • Knowledge of Test Base supply and material shipping and receiving operations
  • knowledge of stores system used to control the allocation of materials

> Senior Quantity Surveyor

Main Responsibilities: 

  • Develop, manage and/or execute all phases of the projects’ estimating responsibilities/commitments.
  • Ensure resources are in place to execute the project control plan and report project cost estimates to management as well as analyze cost and schedule variances thereby recommending corrective actions.
  • Review project drawings, specifications, BOQs and other contract documents to validate against project budget and cost control plan.
  • Contribute to appropriate Value Engineering options relative to Whole Life Cycle Costs.
  • Revise and maintain status of the detailed project cost estimate/forecast to include all phases of project execution from design/engineering, material/equipment procurement and deliveries and construction contracts through start-up activities and closeout. Participate in and/or facilitates project cost reviews, interactive planning and risk analysis sessions.
  • Prepares appropriate cost presentations, cost trending & forecasting analysis for project costs; communicates these to all related parties, highlight concerns, recommends necessary measures, actions and methods.
  • Supervise the development of project bill of quantities and schedule of works accordingly. Notifies management of any under or over run in project costs, recommending appropriate action and follow up
  • Oversee, lead & help maintain safe work practices on construction projects that could identify, eliminate and control hazardous conditions that may lead to injury and/or property damage using job specific safety standards, best management practices and injury free environment techniques
  • Educate, advise & communicate any/all issues with/between colleagues, project staff and/or contractor while implementing corrective action that will help build productive working relationships with all in accordance with guidelines and policies.


  • Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • More than 10 years’ experience
  • Must be familiar with the construction and material specifications.
  • Ability to understand and interpret drawings and details.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and AutoCAD.
  • Strong analytical, self-motivated, good communication and interpersonal skills, meticulous, organized multi-tasker, able to work independently and a pro-active team player.

> Senior Process Engineer


Consults with lead process engineers and project managers on technical problems, staffing requirements, effort-hour estimates, and schedule issues in relation to commitments for project deliverables

  • Scale up from pilot plant tests to industrial plant design
  • Pilot plant design from lab tests
  • Prepare pilot plant program tests to reach steady state and get results that enable scale up to industrial plant
  • Assigns lead and other process engineers to project teams, ensuring the best utilization of their talents and skill sets for the specific project requirements
  • Demonstrates customer focus in all actions
  • Role model for open communications, relationship building, negotiations, and conflict resolution, and administrative professionalism
  • Responsible for overall departmental succes
  • Recognized Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in engineering or technical field from an accredited college or University required
  • 6+ years’ of experience designing offshore production facilities required
  • Broad technical knowledge of engineering, and project execution required
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required
  • P.E. License preferred

> Construction Manager

Position Summary:

Manages all on site construction functions in accordance with the established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements approved by the Company.

Technical/Functional Responsibilities:

  • Supervises all personnel at the site through subordinate leaders
  • Manages project indirect overhead budgets
  • Develops fiscal plans
  • Monitors performance and utilization; provides periodic projects
  • Functions as liaison between engineering and construction sites
  • Responsible for constructability and construction planning during engineering phase


  • 5-10 years of related experience with 5 at site manager level,
  • BS/MS preferred
